I don't like the way those exhaust pipes wrap right around the rear diff, closely and on 3-sides, with no heat shielding. Am I being paranoid? I would think the rear diff would be much more prone to heat build-up than I would want it to be.

That underbody bracing is really, really cool.

My guess is that most of the heat gets dissipated at the turbos, and relatively speaking, there's enough air movement under the body to have a pretty effective thermal barrier from all but the radiated heat from the pipes. That said, I think the diff's air fins look a bit more substantial than our e39s' diffs. Definitely no jacking on the diff for this one, not that I ever did on the e39.

Does the car have 2 cats in the manifolds, and then then 2 secondary cats?

I imagine getting ride of a pair of those will be the first easy mod, especially the second ones.

Or rather retain the second ones, get fid of the cats in the manifolds (or downpipes?) and have high flow ceramic coated dps. Should be an easy gain in high rpm power and shed some weight/heat.

I still am not sure I understand the power comments. I can understand saying that the power curve isn't as linear as an S65 but the massive blast of tq down low combined with the fact that a stock one just dyno 427 WHP with such a meaty top end makes this car a monster up top. It's still a whopping 50-60 WHP more than an S65 over a broader curve lol.

Did you really take the car to a shop and pay to have someone put the painted reflectors on?

I agree, First gear doesn't feel like it, but if you dip into the car in second, third, fourth, it just GOES!!

From what I saw, I think so. I want to get downpipes made ASAP. I stuck a flashlight in there, you can even see the turbos, I dont think it's that hard to make.

Yes. Mini Corsa is 3 miles away from my house. Why waste my time when Danny is a ninja and does everything in a blink of a eye?!

Congrats tightie! Many are very keen to see the cars weight. If I may make some specific requests.

-Specify fuel level (best/simplest is full tank)
-List your options
-Use an accurate scale (duh...)
-Specify driver in or out of the car

I know you'll get to this. Thanks in advance.

Would you mind checking to see if there are mounting bolts for a roof rack, please? I know they weren't there on UAE's car, but I'm curious to see if US cars might be different.

Do you know if Speed Limit Info can be added via coding to cars that don't have the Driver Assistance package?
