I've noticed that as well, the front of my car after just 600 miles was literally coated in insects. I know if the turbos create a bigger vortex or something but there are bugs on my car all the time.

This is always a good advice though it did not work in my case. My favorite bug was stuck in my windscreen insulation for four days, I actually named him already when finally it dropped off.

Trust me, I drive people insane with that habit. I give shit names and then refer to those with them, my M4 is so crowded already its insane: Peter, Candy, Axl, Timothy, and yesterday I added names to my spouses car too. And named the car. And I think soon he'll just run away because everything from the dish washer to the coffee machine has a name.
I need therapy.

This car attracts more bugs to its front bumper than any other car I've owned. It would be freshly washed that AM and by that PM my front bumper looks like "It's a Bugs Life." I'm thinking it's the LED headlights that are attracting them to commit suicide.

maybe a pressure washer or high powered hose may work?
I usually just hose the area really well and that seems to get a large chunk of the bugs cleared from the front areas of the car

Maybe get some screening material or something and tack it up on the backside of the big openings on the bottom. Ive also been trying to think of something to keep the bugs and pebbles outta that area.

Some generic tips for bugs:
Apply wax on the bumper and hood area to create a layer that prevents them from damaging the paint and merging with the surface. Use Poorboy's Bug Remover or similar spray, at a ratio that doesn't remove the wax coating. Wash front area with a stream of warm water. Bugs will go off easily. Yes I hate them and the entire intercooler is full of dead bugs, those don't seem to go off at all. |

Rain-x headlights and your windshield. Buy the biggest size container of quick detail product. Use it to clean your bumper since it won't remove the wax. This also keeps the areas well lubricated so they are easier to remove! I have to do this about twice a week during love bug season!
