F80 M3 to be featured in Mission Impossible 5 now shooting in Morocco

Hello everyone, here are some pictures from the shooting of Mission Impossible 5 in Morocco. After the BMW Vision Efficient Dynamics (i8) in MI4, there will be a F80 M3 and several S1000RR (HP4 ??) in the next movie. I couldn't download the videos from facebook so I will just put the link.

Filming for Mission Impossible 5 is underway in Morocco and a fleet of F80 M3 is on set. The new M3 has already been spotted in action scenes and it looks like it will appear in the action movie in Silverstone II color.

This continues BMW's appearance in the Mission Impossible franchise as the i8 (as Vision Efficient Dynamics concept car) and 6 Series were both featured prominently in Mission Impossible 4.

WTF? And I can't get one SSII M3 built! So the M3 is going to figure rather prominently is this movie it appears.

That was painful to watch....what a waste....I think a bunch of Chevy Impalas would be more appropriate!!

is it just me, or are they not all configured the same? I would've assumed many identical cars for same set of takes/sequence but seems like maybe not?

its pretty crazy how they just destroy those cars! But hey I'm sure BMW thinks it well worth it

And the one at the top with the camera braces has a moonroof. Probably for taking pictures out of.

They all have CCBs as well. In the end, this is just another advertisement for the brand/model. No different from audi and the iron man franchise

You would think that if BMW was trying to advertise them, the would not have been stripped of Roundels. If you look, you can see that there are no Roundels on the wheels and if you look even closer you will see that the Roundels have been removed from the hood and trunk lid also.

Good catch. the photo of TC getting into a 7 series made me assume that the whole deal was a promotion. But if BMW paid as little a dollar to the production company, then the roundel would be prominent. I stand corrected

I'm one of the rare individuals who has a F80 SS on order (Production week 39).

Anyone think SS will become a more popular choice after MI5 comes out?
