Saw this on Reddit. Not sure if the photos do it justice. Also would be pretty bummed if BMW SF Put that sticker on the back of my individual order...

That looks just like a frozen version of Sakhir Orange not red. I like it

Yup, looks like SO on an overcast day. It definitely looks like Frozen SO, nice!

And that dealership sticker peels off very easy.

Well frozen red is SO with a matte clear coat.

But that's just the picture...all kinds of things affect what you see. Lighting and angle alone can make a huge difference. As an example, in my opinion, only about 20%, if that of SO pictures I see on the net reflect what that color looks like in person.

Had an opportunity to park next to an Orange metalic 1M last weekend. That was orange, ours look more orange/red, depending on light. In the cover of my garage it looks more red than orange. When driving under sunny conditions it has a golden hue that travels over the car as it goes by. Love this color and what it does under varying conditions.

Regardless, that's still how frozen red is made

they take SO base coat and then spray the matte clear coat. Just like frozen silver uses Silverstone II base w/ matte and frozen black uses BSM w/ matte.

Looking close, you can definitely see the condensation on the paint - it's SO.

never liked a frozen finish in a color

I can handle the white gray and black, this doesn't do it for me unfortunately

Also noticed the hood and front bumper seems to be off in color match in that last pic. Maybe it's just me.

But that's what BMW calls it. Frozen red. Not frozen orange. In the paint guide it specifically says "Sakhir Orange Base". Just like frozen silver uses Silverstone, frozen blue uses MCB, frozen dark blue uses Deep Sea Blue, etc.
