So a slight bump in hp, what about torque?

I was expecting ~450hp. Still a beast though!

Now that the list of the specs is out, i'm glad that i didnt wait for the comp pkg. For Me its not enough changes to justify the wait. And those 20's are hideous! Not impressed with the comp pack!

such a disappointment...seat belts, sound system you serious right?
and those rims....20 inch chrome rims...I mean...competition track oriented M3 package right?

a B6 A4 Ultrasport Package was more impressive than this...

"M seats with cut-out", same seats as NA spec M4 GTS?

Edit: Sneak peak at M design stripe seat belts in pic as well!

Dack, so no alcantara side bolsters like on the GTS? I'm still going for carbonstructure no matter what, but it would have been cool if the side bolsters were like the GTS.

I also wonder if this "sport exhaust" is just a non-titanium version of the MPE?

Why? This is by far one of the most comprehensive ZCP we've seen to date. Certainly blows the one from the E9x M3 out of the water IMO.

Also, I like the wheels. Doesn't seem like there's much value added in terms of performance though

It may blow the e92 version out of the water, but it will also be at least twice as expensive with only modest gains. A retrofit might be interesting though if available. At least for the Hp bump that is.

• Sports exhaust system with tailpipes in black high-gloss- I like that, but I can already get those now

• 20" M light alloy wheels Star-spoke style 666 M, forged, with mixed tires- I like these, though I would prefer them in 19s... they almost look too big here
• Adaptive M suspension- Have that. How's that different?
• HiFi loudspeaker system (optional: Harman Kardon surround sound - Have that. How's that different?system)
• BMW Individual high-gloss Shadow Line- Do they mean the kidneys?
• BMW Individual high-gloss Shadow Line with extended contents- Are they talking about the black gills here?

All in all, I'm a little disappointed in the package, but then again, the one on the E46 wasn't substantially different from the base model, either. I'm curious to know in what the "adaptations" of the DSC and Active Suspension result.

Probably not worth the cost, and I would say certainly not worth waiting to place an order for an M4 for this. But that's just me...

Well at least it comes with a HP bump this time.

Not a fan of those jazzy rims.

Not a fan of this wheel style. The black 437M wheel is the best wheel style BMW ever came up with

Lol, I was wondering the exact same thing for all these. What I would've wanted was some new colors, especially a blue, 19" wheels, and more than 435 hp, I was hoping around 450+. I the price is right in the package, this won't be a total disappointment, but nothing that's gonna want to upgrade from my current f80.

Not really sure what to think of this. Was expecting a bigger power bump, but given BMW's conservative hp ratings who knows how much the power is actually bumped. Disappointed to see that the suspension will not be lowered.

I agree that the E9x comp package was not very "comprehensive" from a performance stand point like this one, but it gave the M3 the perfect wheels and stance from the factory IMO. There are literally no wheels out there that I would pick for my M3 over the ones it comes with.

The F8x comp package does not lower the car which is one of the main issues discussed on the forum (ride height), the wheels are questionable and are definitely not something I would pick out if I were shopping to update my base M3 wheels, and the exhaust will just be middle ground on a car that flat out does not sound good.

Will wait for actual owner reviews before I form my opinion, but for just on paper stats I will say I did expect a bit more. I will not be disappointed either way; if I like the comp package I will get a comp package car, if not that is great because then I can just take over someone else's lease for 1.5 years or less like I did on my e92!

Not the way I see it.
Seats: OK, some people might not think it's worth it, but I think they look stunning.
Swaybars, shocks and springs (already confirmed via ETK): We'll see when the reviews come out if they make a difference or not.
Wheels: Not for everyone, but I've warmed up to them. And wider tires are always welcomed
Muffler: If this is a throatier version than the base (less rasp, more like MPE), then this would also save me thousands from having to go aftermarket

The HP was honestly the least of my worries with the S55. Not sure what else people were realistically expecting though? Water injection and CCB included for $4000?
