The OEM GTS Hood is made out of carbon fiber and not aluminum or CFRP.

I never said anything about polymers, I simply stated that the OEM GTS hood is made out of carbon fiber. And that is why there so expensive, and most people typically buy aftermarket GTS Style hoods made out of Aluminum for around $1000 +/-.

No. You said it’s, and I quote, “ not aluminum or CFRP.” If there’s no P, just CF, what consolidates the CF into the GTS hood?

CFRP stands for Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic. The OEM GTS hood is full carbon fiber. Not Aluminum or CFRP.

No it’s not. P is polymer for people that work with composite materials and structures. Just do a search for CFRP. A plastic is a polymer. There are thermoset and thermoplastic adhesives.
