Thanks for sharing. .

They both look stunning IMO

They do mention that the new engine does not sound as good as the S65. Somewhat expected though...

One thing I never hear mention is that it's entirely possible a new N/A v8 wouldn't have sounded as good as the s65.

I have an S62 and while a very smooth and refined engine, by no means does it sounds like an M-engine should stock.

I think that's because most of us just wished for an updated S65, not a brand new V8.

Thanks for posting OP. These cars do look great in motion - as an M should. I think YMB will be more popular than one might guess.

The cars and those seats look great. Cool vid, wish I knew what they were saying but were they comparing it to a Carerra S?

I'm trying to put my finger on what it sounds like
Without a proper sound track to go by, I'd say close to an N55

2015 sounds so far off, but probably that means spring.

They both look great. Neither color is for me but I will say, for me, this is one of the first gens I actually think the sedan looks as good if not better

Did they say that of the 550Nm, 400Nm are readily available from 3900RPM, like I read on another site about this story ? This sounds a bit strange knowing that the N54 and N55 have the 400Nm available from 1300 and 1200RPM respectively. This may be because they couldn't maintain 400Nm from low RPMs and still make the engine reliable enough for track racing, so torque limiting at lower RPMs was necessary (not that it would matter on the track but it does matter on the street). Or maybe the larger turbos cannot provide the necessary pressure at lower RPMs.

400N-m at 3900 RPM is the S65 rating...

Sedan definitely looks better. Amazing looking vehicle with massive torque! Although, high torque usually means you'll go through tires quicker - e9x still retains some merit.

nope, they say that the full 550nm are available between 1.850 and 5.500 RPM.
