Now I am undecided - carbon fiber or piano black trim. CF comes with the black accents (too dark), while the PB comes with aluminum (and adds some fun to interior).

My build came out to 89.770 € (which will be about US$80K )

I am in love w/ that Piano black trim in the config machine. I'm crossing my fingers it's an option in the US. I think it looks great w/ extended (not full) SO interior.

I ordered it in mineral white with sakhir orange interior and carbon fiber trim. I think black and red interior looks very good.
With all bits and pieces i came out with 91.110 €
Date of delivery will be end of July at the welt

There is almost nothing standard in Germany. Really annoying for them that it's not only cheaper in the US (okay, they are in an own category), but the UK guys have lower prices as well if I've seen it right.

Navigation is selected by default... but then, the audio system is the 6-speaker, no-tweeters, non-OEM amp.

What's the deal with the Germans and that shitty 6-speaker system, even in a 71,000 Euro car?

US Config needs to be more like this one, I like how you can choose an interior color and then pull the slider to see the previous choice (slider over the image) so you can slide back and fourth between say black and SO...

Also did anyone else notice that on FULL SO leather, the stitching on the dashboard appears to be SO (at least in images), was not expecting that!

I went back and took a look after your post and it does look that way to me although I could quite zoom in close enough to be 100% certain. That is exactly what I wanted! I was going to do individual on the stitching if that was not the case. Let me wait until I can confirm with US configurator before getting too excited.

I was glad to see the Shadow Line Trim and Anthracite Headliner in the configurator although it is not standard. I expect the trim to be standard and at least the headliner to be included with Full Leather Package. Again not holding my breath until the US configurator and order guides are finally released sometime next year and Iceland buys up all the 2014 allocations!!

I'm baffled about how everyone is discussing/dreaming about what color they will option for the interior trim or leather.

That's the last of my worries/interests when dreaming about an M3.

He's not using a straight currency conversion.

Looks like he's using a ratio of US base price over GER base price to get a ratio to apply to the options and estimate his price...
