Of course you are right. Bikes are
EVERYWHERE and are an integral part of German life. I was in Cologne today and the bike paths and bike street lights are truly made from a bicyclist's perspective. Many, many use them to get to/from work, get groceries (many Germans go to the "market" daily for fresh food), for exercise, etc. Thanks for the photo compliment. Most of my photos are taken with a Nikon 5000 DSLR. A few years old but takes really nice shots with minimal fuss.
