Opinions on vendor issue
Not sure if this is the right section to post this but i though I would get your opinions on this matter. This is for a product i ordered through a vendor and i am very frustrated with their service.
I originally contacted them on March 18TH to inquire, at this time i was told they had the product coming in the next day and had availability for me. I immediately placed my order: After not hearing anything for a week i asked about an update, this is the response i got: After a couple weeks go by i ask if there is a tracking number, this is the response: After almost a month i ask for updates, this is the response: Couple weeks go by and when i tell them about my frustration and that Ive been told next week continuously for the past 6 weeks, this is the response: Am i crazy or would this frustrate anyone else? |

I believe that is called the "run around", and generally a DICK move
I would ask for a complete refund and never give them my business again. I understand things can happen and shipments can get delayed, but not a single time in those emails did I sense any apologetic feelings or an attempt to rectify the problem for the customer. Who's the Vendor so I can stay FAR FAR AWAY as well. You can PM me if you don't feel comfortable, I will not post them up publicly neither. |

This is so common, I can't understand why anyone would bother to give an unrealistic timetable. It's not like we don't notice a few months difference.

Looks like you have a legitimate gripe. Post the vendor name, as the screenshots indicate a lack of responsibility on their part.

Thanks guys, good to know I'm not just being impatient. They took my credit card and personal info but haven't charged the card which helps. The fact of the matter is i ordered this diffuser months ahead of time to ensure i would receive it for an event coming up this weekend, had they notified me from the get go or even half way through that it would take 12+ weeks i would have gone with another vendor, instead they led me to believe i would get it next week or within a couple weeks, multiple times. (Should have switched vendors after the first time, partially my fault). I know the product i am purchasing is in high demand and has low production numbers but while talking to another couple vendors, they have notified me they have been receiving shipments since march. I have changed my order to another vendor at this time.
I am not receiving any kind of apology and have stopped receiving responses from them multiple times. I know they have good feedback from fellow members who have had good experiences but mine has been an uphill battle. 12 weeks? Good to know. I hope they would jump in and give their side of the story. They as in Vorsteiner, Supreme Power is the middleman and it's prob out of their control.
If you can get a refund, go Mode Carbon bro.

Refund would 100% be no problem but the customer is never charged until we ship the product.
Unfortunately, we are in a long line of backorders for the Vorsteiner diffuser and these diffusers take a long time to produce. We go above and beyond for everyone on this board. This is not an exception.... We apologize for the frustration. We would be willing to offer you a discount on your current order if you want to stick it out for when production comes in. We are here to serve you guys. Sometimes things happen with suppliers and we need to relay messages that arent necessarily ideal. If you need anything at all we are here to help. We do have alternatives if you dont want to wait for Vorsteiner Exotics Tuning for example:
