I'll bet someone complains SSII has been replaced as a standard color. Personally, I prefer yellows, blues, red and orange to white, black, grey and silver on these cars.

I for one do not like yellow, red and orange. Too flashy for me. I do like greys and silvers.

To me it would have made more sense to remove Mineral White and keep Silverstone (and I bought Mineral White ). Kinda pissed about SMB, wish it was available on my M3 2 years ago as an optional color - definitely would have gotten it. Even as a cheaper individual color option.

They also added tinted tail lights this year... similar to how the M3CS has darker lci tails compared to standard.

sad for the SMB guys who now have a CS/Individual car with a 'standard' color.

Not really in the case of the CS since SMB has always been offered at the standard metallic colour price. Only LRG and FDB are significant upcharges.

So true, other than a selection of black as a color for seats brings extra add ons at an extra charge for a color inside the car. This being only one example, you want this, oh ok only if you pay up for that and this add on. The only true value is white with black interior on 18” as it carries no obvious up charge. Might as well drop to an M/lite for a better equipped ride! Or is that the plan, BMW?

Hey, that's exactly what I did! 2017 custom order, mineral white, cloth seats, manual transmission, 18s, all for $62k before taxes on a custom order. At that price, the M3 is a freaking bargain. Wouldn't have it any other way.

Full disclosure: I did indulge on Apple Carplay for $300. I'm sure the next owner will love that feature.
