Damn, sorry to hear that. The suck part is that it happened in the parking lot and no cameras, just filed a claim to your insurance and let them do their jobs and hope for the best.

OP, feel bad for you. go to a body shop that is second to none. matching the AYM is not going to be easy. Don't ask me how I know.
I ended up selling mine but missed it so bad, bought another. Wanted AYM but ended up with SO.

do you know the procedure by the book to replace a quarter panel on this car? and the process to take if your inner structure has any sort of ripples and deformities?

Sorry to hear. My previous car was also sideswipped, but by a semi-truck. Needless to say it was totaled and the whole experience sucked but at the end of the day I was lucky enough to replace it with an F82 and so far loving every moment of it. Who knows, in all likely hood your next car will be even better.
