Some dream garages up in here.
For anyone considering RaceDeck, if you join the garagejournal.com forum and PM the RaceDeck guy, he can give you a pretty competitive price. |

I'm so jealous of all the garage space some of you have. Even the guys with the 2-car garages have nice workbenches and storage in front of their cars! My two-car garage is so tight that there's barely room to open my car door without hitting my wife's X5, and it's too tight in the front to put anything.

My advice based on my 2 car experience is to back your vehicle in (assuming you are a fairly precise driver) with the passenger door close to one side of the garage. Then have your wife pull in straight but with her passenger door close to the other side of the garage. Then you effectively have the maximum space between the driver's doors to open them and move through. When you work on a car, just pull the other out and center the one being worked on. We did that with our pitiful old 18x18 garage and I was able to tuck my NSX so close to the wall that there was more than enough space for my wife to pull in without worry of doors hitting. |
