F8x in Colorado (First)

First one in Colorado? Picked it up last night. Came in mid afternoon on Tuesday, June 17. Took the car dirty and wrapped in plastic, did my own detail this morning. This is post wash, not waxed yet.

@Bluehinder, I've been wondering who got the first one! Too bad Brian left though. Did they give you any goodies with it?

She looks fantastic! I couldn't remember, did that one have the full leather dash? DCT right?

Car has every option available including DCT and full leather. Actually, I think the only option missing is the rear sunshade, which I don't care about anyway. I originally ordered my car this exact way except with silver wheels, but they gave me the option of their launch car if I wanted it. After seeing the black wheels, I'm so glad I switched.

Oakleyguy, I agree, it's sad Brian left. I did hear yesterday that they are working to bring him back. I know him well, it was an hours thing, too much time away from the family. He sold me an M5 last year, great guy. Zach, his replacement is also a fantastic guy to work with.

I've been buying cars from Co's for over twenty years, and can't say enough good things about them. Great people, starting with Cristine.

Alpine white, yes, black interior, carbon trim.

Kimberly has been taking care of me since he left. From what I understand Brian trained her, so she seems on the ball thus far.

Did they honor your request to let you know when the truck arrived so you could witness it being unloaded? I've requested the same, no detail, no driving, just take out the blocks and disable transport mode. Frankly, I just want to avoid having a rogue tech tearing ass around the block as we've seen too often.

Their M4 is at the port as well, as of yesterday. Jesse at Schomp told me he thinks (hopes?) end of next week it might be at the dealership.

M3 was picked up from port this morning. I would expect it here by Saturday, but probly not ready to drive until Monday after PDI. We have two Black M4's, but both are stuck at the port. No word on when they will be here yet.

Everyone, Schomps M3 launch car showed up today. They were unloading it off the truck right as I pulled up. AW, CCB, extended leather, Exec, DCT, sunroof. Sounds amazing!!!
