One interesting fact is that there is a hole in the floor directly below the sub to the outside (it's filled with the stock soft elastomeric resonator). I had some pebbles under the sub.

Install went easy - just like the directions indicated. My car already had the stage 1 installed - one of the first things I did when the car was stateside. In my brief listening I am really impressed with how the Ghost installation opens up the bottom end, making it clearer and less muddy below 150 Hz. Dire Straits Money for Nothing was a revelation!

I'm wondering about an amp upgrade now for the HK system. Anybody know of a good one?

Can't give you a specific model sub but there is a tecnic harness that should let you add any sub you want. type A/B or G/H subs are recommended. Per Bavsound, class D amps could introduce noise artifact.

BEMR I tried your settings. Wow I think I lost some hearing

Seriously, it was a little too much for me with bluetooth or a CD, but worked really well with SiriusXM. Not sure about the radio because I never listen to it.

Now I wish I could have different settings for each source.

As far as I know there is not an amp upgrade that is plug and play. I want to contact bimmertech and get them rolling on an amp though as I agree with you.

Anybody that's done the install will understand this, I think I am going to with my T50 undo my seats from time to time, tilt them back and clean underneath the seat runners. What a mess, found 5 dollars in change, a lost credit card, and some M & M's.

And like someone else mentioned, was surprised that after taking out sub box, that the car body had a 2inch diameter hole to the street that was covered underneath with soft underbody material that fells like cardboard, lol

It felt SOOOOOO good the vacuum that shit with the seats up. If I had know how easy it was, I wouldn't have waited so long. No more lost coins and french fries!

Not usually. There was one long day on the ED where I had to eat in the car because my blood sugar was dropping like a stone. So I had some nuts. There were some between the seat track and the console.

Yeah, you can't help it sometimes but I will hunt for stuff that drop into seats crevices etc. Pretty anal about that!

I wouldn't normally mention something like this......use my settings on page 9, then download the song GOTHIC GIRL by a group called THE 69 EYES. Then crank your system up to about 30%.

A true sampling of what you can hear now that you couldn't hear before, trust me on this one. And for best sound quality put it on your in car music collection.
