Ecutek dongle bluetooth issues?
Asked this on the F8X fb group. Just thought to ask here in case.
Has anyone experienced connectivity issues? It connects. but, after a few moments it randomly freezes and or loses connectivity intermittently. I've tried unplugging dongle, resetting bluetooth on phone and reinstalled the app a few times before.

Flawless for me on standard OBDII with cable (flashing) or secondary fast logging OBD to FEM via Bluetooth. I actually just leave it in the car connected to the secondary at all times.

Have you got anything else on the bus that could be interfering with it?

Flawless; having a second item on the canbus will cause that.

I had my initial Bluetooth adapter replaced because the circuit board was fried. Symptom: ECU Connect was not recognized. So Had to run it plugged into my laptop and connected to ProECU for several months until the new EVI Bluetooth adapter arrived from the UK.

Mine always loses connection even during a Log.
Maybe I'll send it in to have it checked out.
