Tires for Seattle?
What setups do you guys use for Seattle/Everett Area? I currently have 19" OEM 437M rims with NEW Michelin PSS. Looking to either trade rims or buy a new set of A/S tires.

Currently on Cup 2s for track season but my daily setup is Pilot All Season 4s in 265/40/R18 F and 275/40R18 R. Very meaty and soak up the terrible roads up here extremely well. PAS4s also have a surprising amount of grip for an all season - I even tracked them and found that they had higher limits than I expected (obviously I found them but they were a pinch hitter for the day).

I've run PSS and PS4S on 19s and 20s for the last 6 years in Seattle, in Ms ranging from 420hp to 700hp+. Zero issues other than traction due to the power. Haha. Car is not my daily driver. However, I've done tons long drives up and down the passes.
Going to upgrade to something much stickier soon like PS Cup Connects or something even stickier in the 100-200tw range.

In the city, you can get away with summer tires in the winter but if you're going up any elevation, I feel snow tires are a must for winter. I had a evo when I was in Seattle and the roads up to the slopes for skiing was insane. Locals will pass you going down the mountain in hoopties like it's nothing. I honestly think I wouldn't even take my M3 with snow tires up there, this car likes to slide when it's bone dry and hot out.
