Can M3 fit (transport) all 4 factory wheels+tires (mounted)?
Anyone tried transporting all 4 factory wheels+tires (mounted) in the M3? Will it fit?
Did a search but didn't see an answer. |

If you fold the rear seats down it eliminates worries about the leather on your back seat. I did put one in the front passenger seat since mine were in bags and it was quickest that way, but I believe it may be possible to put all four in the back if you stack one on top.

I do this twice a year in my A4 when I swap winters and summers. No reason it shouldn't work in an M3 which is about the same size.
Back seats down to protect leather. |

Yup I've done it in my coupe M4, so it can be done for the M3. One in the trunk. The others staggered over one another on the folded rear seat.

Worse case scenario, one in trunk, two in backseat and one in front passenger seat.. Did that with my E92 M3...

Used to do this all the time in my s4 And my 335 trunk is similar...
Seats down Put a towel or old blanket down 3 tires in a zig zag from passenger seat to end of trunk Stack 4th on top of tire nearest to passenger seat. |

Rear seats folded, 3 in the back in a way that eliminates movement and sliding, one in the trunk had to be braced by a jack, air compressor, and some more gear to minimize movement.
Pics below. a

Maybe the first link from the google search 'site:f80.bimmerpost.com transport tires' http://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1130061 I also do the 3 in the back seat and one in the trunk method.

I did it in an F82 but I don't think I started a thread about it. Two behind front seats and two in trunk (obviously seats folded down). Passenger seat needed to be opened forward. Maybe you can accomplish the same thing or similar putting F80 passenger seat as far forward as possible. I know I took some pics but can't find them. I'll edit this post to include them if I find them.
Edit: I think it was actually 3 in back seat (2 behind passenger seat) and one in truck. Found picture but probably not that helpful.
