There are significantly more M4s than M3s and of course they know this. I hear that the reason there hasn't been M4 GTS replicas is due to copyright concerns, but we'll find out soon enough. There's clearly such a huge market that is interested so eventually some third party will make them

Good point about copyright. I know that overseas they don't really care so much about copyright. Pretty much every single part up to this point has been replicated. Either way, I will patiently await the release for our platform.

Are there more F30's than F32's though? Since these will work for F30 & F80, perhaps there's more demand for F30/80 vs. F32/82?

I've heard about issues die to copyright, also heard (from a solid source) china has already started to produce some for f82/f83, they're being transported over, but haven't heard this from any other vendor. also haven't seen anything on aliexpress or these forums. hopefully something soon..

I know this question was asked previously but after reading the entire thread I still haven't found the answer (unless I missed it)

My car is 15 F32 I already did the LCI tails upgrade with the OEM wire harness and the extra wire for the inner tailights + the appropriate coding.

Obviously I would use the LCI connectors for the VLANDS but, will I still need to run the xtra cable thru the body hole both sides for the inner Vlands?

I also hear of people removing the large gold resistors - would that be the case in my app?

If so, I totally agree that the pin that would normally go in that hole needs to be cut off of the Vlands for proper fitment.

But I would definitely recommend sealing around that cable with silicone sealant.

Otherwise, water definitely will run under the plastic drip rails down body of car and follow that cable into the hole. This will eventually create a swimming pool in the battery and amp wells inside the car which is never a good thing

Factory tab with pin has a gasket around the pin to seal off that hole once the tails are tightened down for a reason...

Contacted MPower about questions above = no answer

Contacted Vland directly and all they sent was a PDF of the 'install instructions' which are tiny, plus they give absolutely no info on how to install & are useless...

Hard to believe no one that has installed these has the answer, nor the Mfg, or the US vendor

If you have done the coding, you can remove the resistors. That's my case with my pre-LCI M3 and have not had any errors pop up.

I'm not sure what the LCI wire harness entails. Easy way to see if you need to route the cable would be to see if your inner brake lights illuminate when depressing the brake pedal. If yes, you're good. If not, run the cable.

Thanx for the reply - I should have no issues with removing the resistors then

As for the inner brake lights - they DO work with the OEM LCI tails using my current setup, but the VLAND inner tails do not use a Brake light, so don't know what that extra wire that runs thru the body is actually for...

For this reason I'm not sure about going with these as the Brake lights are not as visible (I know the OEM lights such as these function the same) plus there are reports & videos with visual proof that the VLAND lights are not as bright and get washed out in direct sunlight

That graphic is actually incorrect, VLAND does use an inner brake light.

Took a look at this video and you can see the inner brake light.

You guys sure you still want this on your $60K+ M car. Your rear end will look very similar to this IMO

Makes no sense. Those cars are copying the M4 GTS design, at least we have a M4 for it.
