I'm a coupe guy. Always have been. But I think the M3 looks better than the M4. Something about the proportions on the M4 seem forced.

It looks like the M3/4's are arriving at different auto shows in new colors/trims. Really hoping for a Sakhir orange at the Chicago Auto show next month! and/or sakhir orange leather (haven't seen either in person).
I also noticed only the Detroit Ms had the full leather, the other 2 auto shows seems to have just the extended leather (no dash). Coming from a F30 I think the full leather is a no brainer at this price point, just to distinguish the interior and make it look more like a $70K+ car should. |

YMB looks amazing in the M4...Overall, the M3 looks better than the M4 but the coupe I think looks better in lighter colors. In dark colors, the rear end and rear 3/4 look off.

Looks fine but nothing really special. At least it will blend in with the thousands of regular 3 and 4 series and won't attract the wrong type of attention.
BMW not doing a great job with design at present other than i8. |

I think Silverstone with the cf roof is what I'd go with.. The color, to me, is very interesting IRL.. it's a color that can pop but blend in when necessary.

I have seen MANY posts where people say they think the M3 looks better than the M4, is this all from online photos or have some of you actually seen them both in person? Reason I ask is because I think a car like a 4 series/M4 looks much better in person than photos can show and I have seen several people saying after seeing it at the autoshow they changed their mind and like the M4 more than the M3.
$2200 more for the M4 really isn't bad if you like the appearance better, If you are planning on getting it to $75,000 with options thats just 3% more (not like M6 vs M5 pricing). I have a feeling I will really like the M4 once I see it in person and I have always been a sedan person (especially with 2 kids), now the hard part of convincing my wife an M4 will work with a 5 and 7 year old (their ages when I buy it in 1 1/2 years). |

Coupe works for kids that age. They are small enough to get in and out of the back seats easily. The sitting height is lower though so they can't see as much out the windows and could get car sick more often, especially if the dad drives it like there is no tomorrow

For $1100, I migh consider it, but for me, the few extra square feet of leather are not worth $2500. It is purely a personal thing though. |

Does anyone have a list of all the places these cars are supposed to make the rounds to? I highly doubt it, but I would like to know if the M3/M4 will show up at the Pittsburgh IAS
the website doesnt have them listed as one of the featured vehicles |

I am really liking the SSII. I guess it is not for everyone. I like the fact that it is (mostly) an ///M exclusive colour, that it is very easy to maintain and does have that sort of "sleeper" aspect to it.
I do receive a lot of compliments for the colour of my E92(SSII). I can't seem to decide about the wheel colour though. I did not like the black wheels in pictures but found them really nice in real life. Now seeing the SSII M3 with the silver wheels, I am back at preferring the silver ones . There is no official price guide for US, yet.
However, you can get idea on option cost from military order guide. http://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=935117 |
