I finally pull the trigger. I think i get a decent deal on this car and here is the break down.

-MSRP: $79925
-10% discount
-sales price: 71932
-$4500 incentive/rebates
-MF: .00222 (5.33%) (Dealer doesn't want to go down to .00188 because he said he give me 10% off MSRP)
so i end up putting 7MSD of $6k and my MF go down to 0.00187 (4.49%)
-drive off: $2500 ( Include tax, registrations, fees and first month payment)
-3 years/30k miles

My monthly is $800 with tax.
I got the maintenance and also wear and tear warranty. (So i don't have to worry about anything on the car)

Now my monthly is $850 with tax.

Let me know what you guys think? Thank you.

They're only giving around 8.5% off at base MF..Not sure if it is the best deal one could get but all it matters is how much you want the car now.. also what is that additional maintenance you are getting? I'd give as little money as possible to the corporate..

Dealers aren't motivated to sell the M3 right now since they will eventually find homes being the last ones. With that in mind I think this is the right deal. You certainly couldn't get 10% off back when I got my F80!

I recently got the maintenance package too. It basically resurrects the free maintenance program that used to be priced into the cars before they canceled it in 2016. You get free brake pads rotors belts etc. It was $650 and I tend to burn through my brakes and oil etc. so for me it was worth it.

You can still try to get a decent deal without the leasing company . . that wasn't the only way.

It resurrects only wear and tear items - clutch/brakes/wipers. How many of those does someone go through in 3 years? Oil changes and regular maintenance (fluids) items are still included for free for 3 years 36k miles. Unless you track the car you will never need a brake replacement. That's probably the only thing to make buying the maintenance plan worth it.

I wouldn't have taken either of those 2 extras, they don't seem worth it for an extra $1800.

I've gone through several brakes pads and a set of rotors on my M3, and I enjoyed the perk of just dropping it off at the dealer for a new set. My M3CS will probably be driven harder so I figured it was worth it.

Interesting discussion. I'm in the process of ordering a 2020 ZCP for ED this spring. My 2016 M4 still has all the maintenance "perks" and the new car won't. Not sure what to do. On one hand $650 is nothing for brakes. On the other I have 30k+ miles on the 2016 with the original brakes.

I'll say one thing. These cars are very reliable. I haven't had any issues with mine except for the differential debacle in 2016.

Interesting that you have had to change several brake pads. . Do you track the car at all?

I just had my 30k mile service and specifically asked them to look into the breaks and was told they had plenty more to go . . I have done 6 track days with them as well.

Yes. The most brutal was 77+ laps at Big Willow in one day. I've had plenty of canyon runs and backroad driving with heavy brake application at high speeds. I'm more than average driving my car hard. I'm currently at 45k miles.

That will surely do it . Sounds worth it in your case

Doesn't seem like a great deal, I put $2000 out of pocket and pay $900 tax in for a M3CS.

I did a nationwide search for my M3CS last week. The East Coast has much better deals overall than here in CA. I even considered shipping. As much as I tried, I could not get blow $900 on a $102k car with zero down at buy rate MF even with only 10k miles.

edit: oops, didn't realize you were quoting someone looking at an M3/4. Believe it or not, they are not discounting the M3/4 as much as the M3CS. $850 with tax is about right for CA.

Agree with jmg, cant really compare monthly payments for M3CS with the regular M3. The CS is being discounted much more.

I was thinking not getting it too, but they did give me a big discount on the packages. On the papers, the packages cost around $1600 but i guest that extra $200 is the roll over interest and tax. Also is a the piece of mind that i don't have to worry about anything. Just drive and if any damage, they will fix it.

I am on the east coast and can't get it below $900 either. Well I could if XS leasing were able to get more inventory but the dealers I have spoken too haven't been able to offer anything under $900 with TTL up front.
