They added unlock at end of trip to the 7 series with iDrive 5.0 but it doesn't exist yet on other models. In due time. That will fix the double pull. Wouldn't soft-close doors be cost prohibitive?

It's funny because most of the issues mentioned as of yet can be coded off rather easily.

The comp package steering/suspension is how the F8x should've been since it's inception. Anyone who drives a non-zcp then a zcp will probably feel the same way. That's my biggest gripe.

2/8 - Already taken care of. They just haven't released those new black wheels yet. They revealed at SEMA and disclosed that they would be the lightest wheel they produce.

6 - as with anything else you have the choice. Although not a hard "button" to press, it's too easy to code out or unplug the module.

7 - all manufacturers are doing this, no?

BMW Genius said the two systems can't co-exist. That is B.S.
Apple Maps and iDrive navigation co-exist

2 - Agreed. If the "entry-level" X1 has this, why were we cheated.

3 - Supposedly BMW is working on a fix for this. In the meantime you can only toggle between iDrive or CarPlay.

I stop my car and shut it off...doors unlock automatically as soon as the car turns off so one pull gets the door opened. In that same motion when I push that button and open the door the stereo and electronics shut down. Easy peasy!

So in other words you agree it should work that way since you coded it to work that way.

I am very concerned about the death of the manual transmission. If you can, please simply thrown in these 2 cents that there are enthusiasts who still want the manual transmission, regardless of how many tenths of a second slower, and will likely never fully adopt a DCT.

Not sure if this was previously mentioned or not but the addition of a front camera to cover both 360 view (making is a true integrated 360) and regular view (like the rear camera) so we can see the curb would be great.

This is an easy add that would make a big difference.

I'm sure it's been stated:

While I like the 6MT rev match, the option to independently disable it would be nice.
Steering feel could be improved a bit
More options ala cart would be nice, similar to Porsche. I don't want to be forced into Exec packs just to get a backup camera, etc.
LED lighting. Comeon, it's a 60k+ car! LED lighting should be standard at this price point.
Avoid model bloat.
SIMPLIFY AND ADD LIGHTNESS.
