Most power from stock turbos?

Out of curiosity what's the most power you can expect from the stock turbos?

The answer will depend on the fuel. What are you after?

We don't typically aim to be in the "most" category, or claim to have the highest numbers by any means, but our comfort level for a daily driven car on standard unleaded (91/93 Octane) pump fuel is in the range of 480-490WHP and 520-530WTQ. (Uncorrected HEX Tuning Stage TWO power levels)

For part time "play", or HEX Tuning Stage TWO+ with 100 Octane unleaded fuel will put you in the range of 500WHP and 550WTQ.

oh wow that's some gains from just a little E85.

My last Dyno jet results was 534whp with a meth additive of 50. Im going to increase it up to 70 and add a little E85

I think 500 stock and that would mean 75hp additional. You don't much better than that +75hp is what you get when u put a supercharger on in previous models.

That's on pump gas.

Are the numbers the same for a competition package car?

Yes, a Competition Package car will have the same peak numbers as a non-ZCP/Comp car when using our software.

The subtle increase in power that the ZCP receives from the factory is due to BMW's software revision for those models, and our HEX Tuning calibrations "leapfrog" right over that.

really impressive numbers for stock car with tune and E85 mix. To run E85 do i need to change anything or can i just pump 91 and mix it with E85? i will aslo be getting a JB4 tune.

Stage ONE is glorious! Definitely not the highest peak numbers, but still a whole lot of usable power (smooth, consistent and repeatable) as you can see from the area under the curve.

Dyno Plots shown in Post #3. (click to jump)

Aslong as you are running the jb4 with all connectors connected (fuel mass and EWG) then yeah you can run E85 mix

Mike, what can be expected from straight 93 gasoline in your different maps on an otherwise stock car?

And with catless DPs?

AS long as you have the fuel sensor hooked up you are good to go Start with an E25/E30 mix and log.

Thanks Mike

So you gain 30whp from going catless. And catless+93 pump doesn't get to 500whp?

How can one get more hp from pump gas? Pure turbos? In a track car one is pretty much limited to 93 pump, but do bigger turbos help?

EDIT: actually, at almost 500whp you'll probably be running into cooling issues at the track anyway

So seems 560whp is currently the highest? Any other takers?
