60-130 Stock ZCP vs BM3 + JB4 + 100%meth

2016 M3 ZCP stock except CP's, DP's, and drop-in filters. 93 octane fuel.

Stock ZCP flash map 60-130 (no slope, no wheel spin, 52deg) = 11.593 seconds

BM3 flash + JB4+100%meth 26.5psi target (lots of wheel spin until about 75mph, same road, 50deg) = 7.727 seconds

Good god what's a huge difference!!!

Could you test without meth? Maybe run racegas or an e30 mix? I pretty much have the same set up minus the bm3 and meth. And I'm highly considering doing the bm3 stacked with the jb4 this spring

what's also crazy is that the difference in distance is 600ft you'd literally pull 2 football fields on a stock car!

It is a pretty amazing difference! When I flashed back to stock the car felt sooo slow because of what I'd gotten used to. E85 is great but the closest station is over an hour away from me. Because of that I've made it my mission to see how far I can go on 93 octane!

Not bad, that is a very sizable improvement!

The modded time isn't too bad. Any idea how much power you're making there? You've got to be well over 500 wheel, no?

Can someone explain to me what the benefit is of having the BM3 and JB4 installed on the same car?

In my case they are serving two different purposes. The BM3 is a flash tune which adjusts timing, fuel, AFR, DME boost target, load, valvetronic, and more. The JB4 can't do that. What the JB4 does for me is control methanol injection and then also set a higher boost target on the fly to make use of the knock resistance of the methanol while it's being injected.

These are both in 93 pump, just that the second one also has meth injection. I could flash the BM3 OTS map, turn off the JB4 and run a 60-130 on just 93 just to see how that compares.

I would really like to see how BM3 performs by itself without jb4 and meth.

what map are you running on the JB4 and settings? I plan on stacking the JB4 and BM3 with meth this spring so I'm curious.

Nice time! I managed to squeeze out a 7.5 in my f80 with BM3, port injection, full exhaust on e85 with a bit of wheel spin!

Do you use the BM3 agent device. I'm thinking of skipping it since the OBDII port will be occupied by the JB4
