Exclamation M4 CS caught completely uncovered!

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
These pictures were uploaded to BimmerPost earlier this evening by an individual who will remain anonymous. He had only this to say:

"They are shooting a commercial of the M4 CS in California with Augusto Farfus right now."

No way to prove this is legitimate but it looks to be the real deal - large front lip, high trunk spoiler, GTS style vented hood, carbon ceramic brakes.

I think the car looks great in this blue color. While it does resemble San Marino, I have to wonder if it's actually the new Marina Bay Blue coming to the F90 M5.

I would be happier with heavier wheels and a very, very, very large wing in the back and maybe make some exterior bits black. If I can get that for only $8000 more then sold.

They'll increase the power just enough to offset the heavier wheels so it's not slower than the civic M4.

Base M3/4 are becoming Prius while ZCP M3/4 are becoming Civic as soon as CS is announced.

GTS remains the real M car.

The M-Performance wheels announced at SEMA are supposed to be the lightest from BMW yet, so let's wait and see

From what I see in those pics, the only new element is the M-Performance wheels (that I have speculated about). Front splitter, rear decklid spoiler, GTS hood have all been spotted on the camo'ed mules.

No rear wing. Just a rear deck spoiler, slightly larger than the M-Performance one as shown on your sig

Sure it does.... it starts life better looking than the M4. Look at those beautiful rear quarters.

I'll keep my ZCP and throw an ESS tune on it. I think the 4 door is just a classier car all around.

More details

Looks completely legit as per my render work: http://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1343528

Here are the pics blown-up and enhanced so we can make up a few more details.

- New carbon lip GTS' style but not as extreme
- M Performance wheels (shown at Sema) in BBS FI-R Style
- new M Performance carbon gurney flap (no wing)
- Carbon diffuser and titanium exhaust (GTS style)?
- GTS' carbon hood and water injected engine!

My render of that car made a month or so ago... Looks pretty close to the final product. Note that I didn't change the wheels (M666) of the rear view of the car as I could not find high resolution enough pics of the M Performance wheels... One thing I did not do is to put a "CS" badge next to the M4 logo as it appears on the spy pics...

Hi.

Similar except that the CS has a brand new lip as per my render and spy photo...

based on the spy pic it will have the GTS' water injected engine and carbon hood like the DTM edition car...

Also the CS will have a rear gurney flap instead of a wing...
