Is the windshield soft on these cars?

Hey Folks,
Are the windshields in these f8x cars really soft? I have 4 or 5 pits in the windshield. Not enough to crack the glass but shallow pits in the surface. You can see them when the lights hits it right and feel it with your finger nails.

Can they be filled? Is this normal?

I know the roads around here are shit at best but I have not had this pitting on any of my previous cars. Thanks

My car has Pilkington 43R001622 glass if that matters. Just wondering if others are also experiencing this.

To sum up, yes, they are very fragile. I'm on my 3rd one.

Yup Pilkington glass is crap. My F36 windshield looks worse at 40k than my wife's car with twice the mileage.
