BPM Fxx M3/M4 OBD-II Port Flashing for End Users - Official Release - Available NOW!
Featured on BIMMERPOST.com Everyone has been patiently waiting for years now for this to become a reality. I am happy to announce that it FINALLY is. Not in two weeks, or first quarter next year - right now. Removal of the DME(s), drilling, or opening them is now part of the past. We wanted to wait until the capability was completely tested on a number of F series cars, as well as on untouched and unopened ECU's on the bench before this announcement. I am happy to say that this is tested, in hand, and ready for end users at this moment. As far as we know, we are the first to publicly offer this in an end user capability. BPM has tuned thousands of vehicles worldwide and is thrilled to offer this to all F series vehicles worldwide. Capabilities for transmission flashing and other functions will follow, as well as support for other models that are currently not OBD flashable. What does this mean? This means that your F series car can be tuned to extract more horsepower and torque, on top of other features such as top speed limiter removal, redline raise, cold start removal, burbles, and any other type of tuning change you like. For those that want to stick with factory programming, this means that competition package software and special software such as Jahre edition in non competition package vehicles. This means 600HP for M5's/M6's and Comp Pack/CS/GTS Software in M3/M4's. Note that this is for those that wish to retain a factory program - as most will elect for Stage I or Stage II tuning options that can bring your horsepower past 800HP depending on the model of your vehicle, modifications, and fuel used. Supported Models: BMW F10/F11/F12/F13 M5, M6, 550, 535, 528, 2013 - 2017 (Including Alpina Models & GC) BMW F80/F82/F83/F87 M3 Sedan, M4 Coupe, and M2, 2014-2018 BMW F15/F16/F85/F86 X5M and X6M, + all Non-M Models (V8 or I6) BMW F01/F02 7 Series (2013-2016) BMW F2x/F3x/F4x 2, 3, and 4 Series - All Models (Not all supported models are listed) Specifically not supported: 2016/17 MY Vehicles with Bxx Engine 2009-2012 5 and 7 Series Vehicle (N63 Motor) Software Features -Stage 0.5 / 1 / 1.5 / 2 / 2+ / or OEM Calibrations Available - Features only also available. -Cold Start / Cat Warmup Cycle Removal (Off-road use only) -CS/GTS Startup Roar and Burble -Rasied Revlimiter (+200 RPM) -Removed Top Speed Limiter Custom software available by request (additional fees may apply): -Custom Startup Roar -Custom Flap Control -Custom Burble Control -Sport Plus Mode Rev Matching (6MT) -Removal of Rev Matching in Efficient/Sport Mode (6MT) -Valet Mode -CVN Correction (In Progress) OTS Maps with different options are planned for release Mid August. Other Functions -Flash Counter Bypass (Frozen on first flash and stays frozen) -Backup Current Software -Read and Clear Fault Codes -Clear Adapations -Read Engine Coding Data -Restore Engine Coding Data -Return To Stock in Ten Minutes (Version numbers, software build, bootloader, programming date, etc.. all remain the same, original to what you had prior to programming our tune.) How the process works: 1) After purchase, we ship your tuning cable. 2) You will be emailed a full color instruction manual. 3) After following the easy step by step instuctions, you will email us the software version numbers currently loaded to your vehicle. 4) We will send you back your tuned software to your specifications. 5) Plug in, and follow the remainder of the manual to flash your vehicle. The process only takes ten minutes and opening the hood is not required 6) Enjoy! You will have the ability to flash your vehicle back to stock at anytime. Awesome!
Is it possible to flash back and forth from stock to tune with your product? When will your website be updated with this or will it be the same as the "Add OBD-II Flashing Cable" offer that you already have listed? Are there discounts available to forum members?

The pricing on the site currently reflects the previous non OBD solution and will be modified to reflect this breakthrough. We will definitely offer an initial release/forum special. I know many of you have waited very patiently for this and we are thrilled to finally be able to offer it first. |

This is great! I would love to flash the M3CS tune to my car, but I have 6MT, not DCT... Would you guys be able to configure an M3CS tune for 6MT?

The tamper fault was present on cars with the calibration/data area flashed back to stock that still contained a patched bootloader. Essentially the tune was masking the error from appearing. With this solution, you can write the ECU back to stock including the bootloader, so there shouldn't be any tamper fault as the software has been completely restored back. Restoring it completely will take about 9 minutes as opposed to 2 minutes. |

Wow great. How is visibility on the dealer side? Can they tell the car has been flashed?

Am I able to reverse engineer a ECU flash tune, meaning I had my ED F83 ZCP stage II tuned in Germany during ED? I still haven't taken US re-delivery, but thinking ahead at lease turn in to save the German tune software for a 2020 F83 and put the stock ZCP software back on at lease turn in as the tuner e-mailed the OEM ZCP file via this OBDII cable.
I'm interest in a F85 tune, so I would be purchasing the cable. Too bad this wasn't announced eariler as it was nerve wrapping keeping my fingers crossed my ED vehicle would pass through US Customs & VDC- which it did.

According to the video, our coding changes may get dropped during the flash process. Is this random or are there specific cases for when this will happen? Thank you and congratulations for being first!

Now it's front page of the news. With all the recent announcements the past few days by different different vendors did they all collude with each other? Any pricing released? Or is everyone waiting till Monday to upload the same pricing webfile when the webmaster returns?

Just to be clear, you purchase the cable and the tune together, correct?
Does that mean there is now way for us to take this cable and tune the car in a dyno? Are we stuck to using only base maps that are available?
