Forgeline GA1Rs on Fire Orange F80
I just got these mounted up a couple weeks ago and finally got time to post them. I went back and forth on BBS and Forgeline and I ended up going Forgeline due to my previous experience running them on my track cars. If you know anything about them they are legit as they get in their quality and history in motorsports. They are also made in Ohio from US sourced forgings which to me means a lot. Plus I wanted to have something different than the typical BBS options that while are also great are a little too common for me.
I decided on the monoblock Forgeline GA1Rs in Black Chrome PVD in 20x9.5 et25 and 20x10.5 et38. I think the color/finish goes great with the Fire Orange. I went through Turner Motorsport due to my previous relationship in purchasing parts for my old club racer. I worked with Ian Shea and he was excellent throughout the entire process. The quality and fit and finish of the wheels is excellent! You can tell the small touches of a smaller company that really does hand make everything. Each set is made to order with your specs with the small touches like hand engraving the production date and the QA person that inspected the wheel. On my scale the 20x9.5 weighs 21.2 pounds and the 20x10.5 weighs 21.8 pounds. Overall its a 20 pounds savings from the stock ZCP wheels and they are a touch wider. Here are some pics I snapped in front of our avocado grove. Enjoy! |

You clearly know what you're doing.
Forgeline and BBS are the only two wheel manufacturers I'd consider especially after having gone through two slightly bent Vorsteiner flow "forged" wheels. I'll never cheap out and buy non-forged wheels again. I'll only buy forged wheels from reputable companies and I only really count two. HRE I don't even think about as their pricing is outlandish with zero credible motorsport presence. -Forgeline sources their metal from www.aluminumprecision.com which is about as legit as it gets in the forged materials world -Perfect or near-perfect run-out values -Quality ARP fasteners for multi-piece applications -Durable and beautiful finishing by hand -The Schardt brothers have been in this game a long time I am also in the midst of building a set of my tried and true DE3C-SLs in 20x9.5 and 20x11s. I definitely love the visual drama only a properly designed set of 3-piece wheels brings. However, it's tough to pass up the tough to source BBS FI-Rs that's designed and assembled by the same team that designs and assembles their F1 wheels. My 20x9.5 and 20x10.5s come in at 17.5/18.5lbs and without a doubt offer up the greatest strength and stiffness in the wheel game on planet Earth. This is where BBS's R&D budget and motorsport nous slays the comp. Enjoy your Forgelines, brotha! Thanks for sharing. Here's mine.

Agreed. Same mindsets. Either BBS or Forgeline. I tell people all of the time. Yes, and it comes from racing 🏁
