Guage Cluster Overlay

Hi,

Has anyone done a gauge overlay on their M3/M4? Please see below link to a product offered. I am hesitant to attempt this: maybe somehow I would mess up the gauge cluster, not cheap or mess up the overlay which is not cheap either $115.

Seems like not a-lot people have done this or heard of it. One shitty video on Youtube, thats it.

Not really my style. Kind of reminds me of the old Honda scene back in my young days.

Idk man, that yellow one scream exotic to me like Ferrari. The other colors I am not a fan at all.

Thanks, I saw the referenced thread. That DIY video never came out, been a while.

I'm concerned about something failing. Or other things like what if you accidentally touch the needles or trapped air bubbles etc.

I called one shop here in AZ (high end shop, Ferrari, Lambo all day) they said they will pass. He said they're afraid of attempting this because its electronics.........

Pretty simple. Can be done in 10 minutes. I opened mine up because there was some residue build up

Haha, I mean it will match my interior, I don't think they make white. I really like the yellow, just need to not give a shit (about breaking something) and do it lol.
