M4 vert to Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk?
This would be a radical change, and here's why: I have deeply loved my M3 and M4 verts, but the latest is rolling up on 100k miles, at which point the extended warranty runs out and I'm not super-interested in keeping it post-warranty.
Purposely, the list of vehicles to consider has been broad, including: C63S, C8 Corvette, Boxster GTS, Tesla Model 3, Ford Raptor, Toyota 4Runner, Jag F series, and a few others. I still need to look at the Vette and Tesla, but am feeling the itch to change - having driven sports cars for the last 14 years or so, I can either keep on going faster (e.g. Porsche), or try something very different. "Very different" is a little scary - am concerned about driving it for three months then hating it. But having a vehicle that can do everything, on-road or off-road, is interesting - and having driven the 2021 V8 Trailhawk, it's not particularly fast but is fairly perky. Drives well, and very capable off-road. And I've previously enjoyed driving off-road, so expect it to be fun in this one - for the 5% of the time I'm not on the road. Thoughts? Anyone else made a switch like this? It will be the DD, like the M4. Thanks!

You don't know what you have til you don't have it anymore - a few weeks after getting into a daily SUV you're gonna feen for the M. It's been 3 days since I've driven mine (snow) and the SUV (more luxurious than the F82) I'm driving in place is comfortable but I'm sick of it already.

What I loved about the beer: Fast, great handling, sophisticated looks, and top down fun.
And the answer is - now a Jeep owner. And it's great! As nice or nicer than the M inside, seriously capable off-road (the off-road stuff I've found so far is sorta like going fast in the M - it just acts bored 😀 - and fun to have a change. If it turns out in a few months that I made a mistake, I figure it will cost me about $5k to unwind, not the end of the world. Thanks for the responses! Cheers
