Fender Rolling?

Possibly a stupid question since I didn't see any other thread on this. F8X rear fenders don't have a lip like E9Xs so there's no need to roll them. But is there any solution to rolling the rear fenders to fit wider wheels or to get more clearance? Or is camber and thinner tires the only option? The rear fenders are metal so it should be possible right?

The problem with rolling/pulling the fender is that it's going to be difficult to do when you get to the quarter-panel/rear-bumper mounting point. It's a hard point that you can't pull with the typical roller. So even though you succeed in pulling the rest of the quarter panel, it'll look stupid because the pull will just suddenly transition back to the mounting point. That hard point is where you will get the majority of your rubbing too.

My buddy grinded that portion down. Does not affect the mounting of the bumper. I just needed that extra few mm of clearance with my wheel + tire combo. No rubbing issues at all now.

I shaved it down on my car as well. But that's a different topic.

Even if it is shaved down to the bare minimum whilst maintaining proper rear-bumper attachment, that section will be still be problematic when it comes to "rolling/pulling the fender".

Well yeah but was just giving OP a possibility. It can be done to get a few extra mm of clearance for it to not rub. Mine is pretty much flat in that area.

Here's a picture from the day I got mine done. His left hand is exactly on the spot where it was shaved down. It's actually completely flat on that area now.

I see. My issue isn't the sides where the fender meets the bumper. I just have a couple millimeters of poke when looking from the top. I wanted to try rolling first before camber. Rear wheels are 22 offset, pretty aggressive.

That's actually crazy aggressive for this platform. Well, I guess it's dependent upon the width but something like 10.5 +22 is crazy. There's really only 2 options you can go with. 1. Skinnier tires, will result in a stretched look but it is what it is. 2. Dial in some negative camber until it clears.

Lol that's exactly my setup. 19x10.5 ET22. Tires are a 295/35/19. Came off my e92. There's a couple millimeters of poke. I'm sure -1 more camber will tuck it under the fender but I was hoping there was another option. So far no rub even at highway speeds on shitty LA roads.
