Let the Mod wars begin...sick X6 pics inside!
Hi board,
Over the past 2 weeks we have been building an X6 for one of our customers. We are almost done! I thought I would share some of the pics with you guys. This gentleman has superb taste, which has made it easy to put together a beautiful truck. Here are some teaser pics taken last week (sorry, point and shoot camera ). Truck is being detailed now. Stay tuned for the complete unveiling. Questions and comments are welcome! |

UPDATE!
Hello Board,
Thought I would up the ante. Here are some new shots. Not completed yet...but we're close. Here's what is left on round one 1. Amber reflector delete. (we "smoked" it at first, but decided to paint it AW instead) will be installed later today. 2. Buff all painted parts... (first thing tomorrow morning) 3. ACS pedals (customer afterthought, currently installing) 4. SUSPENSION... we are waiting on an airfreight from Germany. (customer will enjoy his ride this weekend and it will be back for the drop next week, lowered pics to follow) Stay tuned for completed pics tomorrow (excluding drop). As always, questions and comments are welcomed. |

Just wondering, the Brembo's are they on 405mm rotors?

First off I am not one of those anti-modding people. My cars are usually highly modified.
But this body kit looks hideous. Side note, CEC is amazing. I met Claus at his Hollywood store years back. He took the time to talk of a spoiled 17 year old with a M3. Very cool. |

I think the X6 does not need a wide body kit, I thin this car with a nice set of 20' wheels and lowering the back just a little it looks great, the factory body is wide enough IMO
I love ACS products since I started to buy BMW ( former owner of the E46 M3's) |

Hello Board,
Thanks for the comments. Let me provide some specs that can answer some of your questions. Aerodynamics: The truck is fitted with the AC Schnitzer front bumper spoiler, rear diffuser, and deck lid spoiler. The front bumper is very well proportioned to the curvature of the truck (hard to illustrate with crappy camera). The fog lights have been relocated to provide unobstructed airflow to the intercoolers. All parts are made of PU-rim (same as OE bumpers) and retains the factory grilles to incorporate an understated look. IRL, the bumper looks as if it were OE, just a tad more aggressive (front bumper $1285, rear diffuser $1285, and rear spoiler $685). Brakes: The rotors are indeed 405mm in the front and 355mm in the rear. Thanks for the questions! Keep them coming! |

looks nice, but IMO the wheels like a bit to small. they look like 19's.

Hi guys,
The customer wanted to go with a 21" for the runflat tires and the 325/30/21 in the rear. We did brushed lips and face to minimize the appearance of a smaller wheel (looks much better IRL). Unfortunately HRE does not make a MONOBLOCK wheel for this application yet. Will look much better when we do the suspension. Prices for the kit are in post # 11. Thanks for the comments, keep them coming. |

How does that exhaust sound? I know alot of drivers here would like a little more sound, but what about really making it soundthe way it looks! WHat exhaust do you reccommend and if its not loud enough once purchased, what can be done to getthe desired decibal levels?
Thank you in advance. |
