Eventuri v2 intake + which OCC?
Hey all, been just dealing with this for a while, but need a solution... as I think has been noted, the Eventuri v2 CAI does not play nice with the Mishimoto OCC (OCC hosing leads to lateral interference with the filter housing seating as it should). Beyond the misalignment at the front, this in turn is giving me an issue of the rear portion of the intake not seating as it should at the connection to the turbo inlet tube, causing it to pop out at times.
According to ChatGPT, sounds like maybe the BMS one is the ticket (unlike the Mishi, it uses the factory PCV tube on outlet side, which appears to be lower-profile) -- can anyone confirm? Still seems like it will be tight, but maybe it's just enough. Thx! |

I'm glad that you've identified this issue, because I always wondered if it would fit my M3, as I've also have the Mishimoto OCC. Now I know with absolute certainty that it will not fit properly. Thank you

Perhaps there's some way to get the front portion of the Eventuri (that leads to the grille air ducts) situated more towards the wheel, pulling the entire housing assembly outward/away from the OCC. That seems to be the issue I'm having |

Well, it appears that it does work from the photos you've provided. And yes, you probably need to remove the CF strut brace, and re-orientate the intakes to fit correctly.
